bidit.services (“bidit.services,” “bidit,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Lagom Tech Solutions and respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, use our services, contact us, participate in transactions, or access administrative features.
This Privacy Policy is intended to support compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (the “DPA”) and applicable United States privacy and consumer protection laws.
bidit.services is an online marketplace operated by Lagom Tech Solutions that connects customers seeking services with independent service providers. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Lagom Tech Solutions is the entity responsible for personal information processed through the Platform (the data controller / personal information controller). Our contact details are in Section 25.
We may collect login credentials, account status, user roles, login activity, and security-related logs necessary to manage access and protect our systems.
We may collect transaction amounts, payment status, billing information, payment confirmations, and records needed for accounting, reporting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Card and payment-account details are handled by our payment processors and are not stored by us.
If you choose to sign in using a third-party login provider (such as Google, Facebook, or Apple), that provider will share certain information with us, which may include your name, email address, and a unique account identifier, in accordance with the permissions you approve and that provider's privacy policy. We use this information to create and secure your account. We do not receive your third-party account password.
↑ Back to topUnless specifically required for a lawful and disclosed purpose, we do not intentionally collect government identification documents, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, biometric information, precise geolocation data, or sensitive personal information.
We use personal information to operate and improve bidit.services, create and manage accounts, match customers with relevant providers, process transactions, provide customer support, communicate with users, maintain business records, detect and prevent fraud, enforce our policies, and comply with legal obligations.
When a customer submits a job request, our systems automatically identify and notify providers whose stated service categories and service areas match the request. This matching is used only to facilitate introductions on the Platform and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement. If you have questions about how matching affects you, you may contact us using the details in Section 25.
↑ Back to topWhere applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent; performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; protection of the rights, property, or safety of users and our systems; and our legitimate business interests in operating and improving the Platform.
We may share information with service providers, payment processors, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, and parties involved in a business transaction (such as a merger or asset sale), in each case only when necessary and legally permitted. When you submit a job request or a bid, relevant details are shared with the matched provider(s) or the customer, as applicable, so the parties can communicate and transact.
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Platform. These currently include:
These providers process personal information on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it, or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies where they act in that capacity.
↑ Back to topbidit.services does not sell names, email addresses, phone numbers, or mailing addresses to third parties for independent marketing purposes, and does not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure website performance, and help protect against fraud. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. We do not use third-party advertising networks to serve targeted ads based on your activity across other websites.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; note that disabling some cookies may affect how the Platform functions. Where required by law, we will request your consent for non-essential cookies before setting them.
With your consent where required, we may send you updates, product news, or promotional messages by email or SMS. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying to a text message as instructed, or contacting us. We will still send you essential service and transactional messages (for example, account, security, and transaction notices).
↑ Back to topWe use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption, access controls, monitoring, secure hosting, and incident response procedures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
Information may be processed or stored in the Philippines, the United States, or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to ensure that international transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, request portability of, and file complaints regarding your personal information. Sections 19 and 20 describe additional region-specific rights.
↑ Back to topTo exercise any of your rights, contact us at privacy@bidit.services with a description of your request. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may decline requests where permitted by law. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where the law allows, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Users covered by the Philippine Data Privacy Act may have additional rights, including the rights to be informed, to access, to object, to rectify (correct), to erase or block, to data portability, to damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC). You may also contact our Data Protection Officer (see Section 25).
Privacy rights vary by state. Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to know and access the personal information we collect, to correct or delete it, to obtain a copy of it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (which we do not do), and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
↑ Back to topThe Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and able to enter into binding contracts. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information without required consent, we will take steps to delete it.
We maintain procedures to investigate and respond to security incidents. Where a breach involving personal information triggers legal notification requirements, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authorities as required by law — including, under the Philippine DPA, notifying the National Privacy Commission within seventy-two (72) hours of knowledge of a qualifying breach.
Our website may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we encourage users to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date, and we will provide additional notice where required by law.
